The Little Art Library

Out in front of our post office in Twisp, Washington, an old phone booth has been recycled into a tiny lending library. This was a project of Methow Arts and the phone booth was donated by CenturyLink which has a small facility next to the post office.

The sign on the front says "Take a book, return another in its place". I think the whole idea is awesome!

  1. I've heard of this before - they do it in places over here (across the Pond) too. Brilliant idea.

  4. It's a lovely idea ... I read something about these little libraries just the other day and it is great to see one. Cool to use a recycled phone booth for the recycle books. Love it.
