I spotted this barn near Barnesville, Minnesota earlier this year. From the looks of it, this barn has been sitting in the water for quite a while. You can see the waterline on the side.
uh oh! Don't you know the mold is having a field day inside! «Louis» doesn't envy the farmer for the clean-up job...
Yesterday, «Louis» took a drive through the line of hills between San Francisco Bay and the Pacific on his way to Pescadero and then down to Santa Cruz. He got a photo of a nice barn he'll post next Monday....
Wow...such a shame!
ReplyDeleteOh dear. Wonder what happened?

ReplyDeletehow sad! dang flooding!
ReplyDeleteA fine shot of this flooded barn. The waterline suggests this flooded area is long term. Too bad.

ReplyDeleteIt did strike me funny that the barn was in Barnesville... ;)
There's really a town called Barnesville? And of course you found a barn there, a floating barn.
ReplyDeleteA terrible situation but a great find and photo!
ReplyDeleteOh, my. I hope nothing important is stored in there and that no animals depend on it for shelter.
