Abandoned Wigwam Burner - Adin, CA |
A wigwam burner is used to burn waste wood in lumber mills or logging yards. Personally, I think it looks like a GIANT badminton shuttlecock.

ReplyDeleteI've seen them, but never knew exactly what they were. Now I know.....Shuttlecocks!
ReplyDeleteNice picture -- in Oregon anyway they can't be used any longer because of air pollution. But I have seen people painting one that is on the way to the Coast from where we lived. I bet their pix aren't as good as your photo though!
