Perigee Moon

Taken last night from my viewpoint at our local airport (wide open spaces!). The moon is orange because of the smoke from our wildfires.

    Smoke can make for some good sky shots. That's the only good thing you can say about it. I'm so glad you guys are OK.

    Alaska is not the place for moon shots in the summer -- I haven't seen it for months!
