Gone Loon-ey

In Vergas, Minnesota, you can find the world's largest loon standing approximately 20 feet tall. The loon is the state bird and each year, Vergas hosts the Looney Daze festival.

    And here I thought you were going looney in Minn.

    I loved to hear their piercing call echo over one of the many lakes.

    That is a BIG bird! Haven't seen this one, but we noticed that both Minnesota and North Dakota have some giant sculptures (long winters I think).
