I fly out of Wenatchee so it was neat on the Seattle to Minnepolis leg of my last flight to fly right back over where I started, only at a much higher altitude. The day was fairly clear and I could easily identify places across Eastern Washington as the plane flew eastward.

ReplyDeleteGreat shot! I really liked living in Wenatchee. When first arrived lived in a van with my x and 2 kids right across from the Rocky Reach Dam.
ReplyDeleteWonderful view of the Columbia!
ReplyDeleteThis is so high and the view is fantastic. A beautiful river reflects so wonderfully a blue sky.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photograph of a very unique place. I love it a lot!!!
I always enjoy shooting from the plane.
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job capturing this from the plane!
ReplyDeleteLike Kaya mentioned the reflected sky really adds to the image.
Nice photo. It is fun flying over areas I'm familiar with and picking out landmarks.
ReplyDeleteCool image! I love the way places look from an airplane, but I don't usually get such a good image!
ReplyDeleteWhoa! what a view & that's a lot of orchards on the flat land sections! sure would love to see it all live & in living color! LoL!
ReplyDeletehappy WW =)
Amazing shot of the Columbia River and dam!
ReplyDeleteThis is a fine aerial shot of our famous river. I enjoyed seeing it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful picture and a perfect watery post. It's neat you can fly out of Wenatchee to save the trip to SeaTac and all that hassle. We were able to fly from Eugene this time instead of Portland...much easier for us.
ReplyDeleteVery cool shot of the Mighty River. I remember when Rocky Reach Dam was built---I think so. We used to stop and watch. Jeez I must be old. MB
ReplyDeleteCool view and shot of the river.
