I had the opportunity last Friday to be a spotter in the local walleye fishing tournament called Lund Mania. Fifty teams (all on
Lund boats of course!) participated with the winning boat captain getting a 1675 Impact complete with Mercury motor and Shoreland'r trailer worth over $20,000. The second and third place captain also got smaller Lund boats as prizes.
Unfortunately, the team I was assigned to did not finish in the Top Ten. I still had a fabulous day out on Otter Tail Lake, wind and all! After all, a bad day of fishing is still better than a good day at work, right? Plus, I ended up winning a $100 gift certificate, hat and fishing towel from
Gander Mountain. Thanks, Gander Mountain!
