A Castle in the City

You know me...always on the lookout for another spire to photograph. We were in Spokane, Washington on Monday while our camper was in the shop for some work. Plans were made to have lunch at Anthony's at Spokane Falls. As we were driving to the restaurant, a very tall spire was spotted that required further exploration. After lunch, we walked the few blocks over to what is the Spokane County Courthouse. All I can say is WOW! What a beautiful building. From the ornate architecture to the glorious fall colors of the trees, I was impressed. It was like a mini castle in the city.

  3. Oh Sally, these photos are amazing. You could probably sell them to the Spokane tourism board. I love the blue of the sky and the contrasting orange trees. I never thought about how much that courthouse looks like a castle. I can almost see a young princess standing at one of the windows looking down waiting for her prince to come :) Great job, you really have a good eye for the camera.
