Rubbish Tuesday - Wigwam Burner

Abandoned Wigwam Burner - Adin, CA

A wigwam burner is used to burn waste wood in lumber mills or logging yards. Personally, I think it looks like a GIANT badminton shuttlecock.

My apologies to those who visited last week. Time got away from me and I wasn't able to return the visit.

  10. Nice picture -- in Oregon anyway they can't be used any longer because of air pollution. But I have seen people painting one that is on the way to the Coast from where we lived. I bet their pix aren't as good as your photo though!
